Eric Bell left Thin Lizzy on New Year's Eve 1973 after a gig at Queen's University Belfast, he was replaced by ex Skid Row guitarist Gary Moore to help finish the tour. Gary Moore lasted only until April 1974 during which time the bands only release was the single Little Darlin'
To complete a tour of Germany Phil Lynott & Brian Downey recruited two fairly unknown guitarists, Andy Gee, ex Ellis & John Cann ex Atomic Rooster, this was Thin Lizzy's first experiment with the twin guitar sound. These two were never taken on as permanent members of the band and were replaced by Scott Gorham & Brian Robertson after this short German tour, the rest as you know is history.
